Functions for lexicographical ordering of sequences.

Lexicographical ordering through <, <=`<=,`, >=`>=,`, >`>requires that the elements implement bothPartialEqand` and PartialOrd.

If two sequences are equal up until the point where one ends, the shorter sequence compares less.
